UNTOLD SECRET OF PEACE AND PROBLEM
There is no such thing called ‘search of inner peace’ for any other creature other than human beings. It doesn’t mean that animals are living without peace; they don’t need to go in search of peace because they don’t face actual problems in life like we do. We can give numerous reasons for our problems or sufferings but animals don’t have any pressure of commitment or pressure of expectation.
COMMITMENT AND EXPECTATION
In any human relationship the guideline is all about expectation. The so called sweet words in our conversations are all pointless because the guiding line in a relationship is commitment and expectation. We are not talking about responsibility here. Animals do have responsibility but they don’t have any pressure or commitment. For example unlike humans, animals don’t have any pressure while giving birth to young ones. They don’t have to go and spend their time in taking confirmation from any medical doctors after a series of tests, scan etc during pregnancy. They don’t check the health condition of the baby after delivery.
They are not even aware of their gestational period. It happens naturally to them. There is no mission or vision in their delivery. No external source of information is required for them. For humans, in spite of having all sources of knowledge, there is lot of pressure in our relationships. Based on social status and religious psychology, there is lot of expectation in every family. This is the highest pressure in human life which we fail to understand and this is what we call as a problem.
THREE STAGES OF PEACE
- When we are not able to maintain the expected standard or we are unable to get the same in a relationship, we call it as a problem. Now one has to realise that peace is not absence of problem; it is the ability to understand that you have the courage to face any problems. This is the first stage of peace.
- The second stage is realising that you have the resource to overcome the problem. This can be related to any given situation be it financial, health or your vision towards future.
- The third stage is where you realise that the problem that you face is no more a problem. This is the highest stage of peace.
PEACE AND SPIRITUALITY
Everyone is in search of peace, but only few achieve the third stage. The eternal peace is possible only when you realise on the spiritual level that it is impossible to live without a problem but it is possible to understand that no problem is going to stay forever. This is where Vedas insists us not to focus entirely on the problem alone, but to realise that you have all the power to solve it. Above all, human minds should initially get the strength to be aware of this single truth of nature; take self-responsibility and remind your-self that this too shall pass.

But that’s not the fact; spirituality is the ability to raise oneself both in power and in consciousness wherein the problem which we think is no more a problem.
Realising this truth is called ‘Aham Brahmasmi’. People give various explanations for this term but in reality, the ultimate truth about ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ is realising that every human being is blessed with the power to reverse the irreversible situation. This also helps you realise that at any given point of time, you are not backed up by the entire universe but you are backed up by the power which has created this entire universe.
Now, you will have the natural strength and ability to remind yourself that no matter how big the problem is, you are always bigger than the problem. With this understanding and conscious effort to realise the truth, one can always stand for his commitment and deliver the expectation which is the fundamental guideline of every relationship.
