It is time to realise that we as human beings should collectively take some measurable action to awaken the individual consciousness. This is possible only when we take the first step to create awareness about the power of individual consciousness. For this we need to understand the scientific and practical aspect of realising the self to live a life without problems or to overcome any obstacles and live a life full of peace and prosperity.
PRESERVE THE EXISTING PARADISE
It’s a fact that in this entire universe, only humans can create a world that they want to live. No animals can ever dream about constructing its own house or travel by any means of transportation that we enjoy. Today we can reach any part of the world or connect with anyone which our forefathers never imagined. With our intelligence & self-effort, we have even reached space & explored other planets.
This is a reality known to all. So, it’s a fact that we have the ability to reach another planet and find the possibility of human survival there in the name of research and development. But what we fail to realise is that real progress doesn’t mean finding a place for us to live in future; it’s to take care of the existing paradise in which we are presently living. This is the first step towards progress. The research announced by global scientists is shocking and shivering. We have spent billions in the name of research, but the fact is even if we had spent 0.1% of that amount to fix our planet Earth we would have been on the road to progress. This is where spirituality plays a major role. Never accept any religion; never accept any concept about God; never accept any philosophy as spirituality. It is an ultimate science which can create peace, success and abundance for humanity. It is a science which is utilised only for the growth of the self and for the future of humanity. As a spiritual approach, we can’t wait till others take effort to bring change to the planet Earth. But we can make sure not to spoil this existing paradise called earth. For this the only thing that is required is to take care of the self. It is known that not all are from rich and healthy families but with the understanding of the self and the spiritual knowledge, a healthy and rich family can come from everyone.
FEEL RICH AND EXPERIENCE REAL LOVE
Why do I insist the word “rich” here? When the resources are good we use the term rich. For example this soil is rich in minerals; this vegetable is rich in calcium etc. The very meaning of rich is the ability to do what you want to do. It should not be always identified with the physical “money”. Money is essential but money alone can never decide richness. Failing to realise this, you will be focusing on all possible joys that you can get from money like smoking, drinking etc. You think you get some kind of pleasure from your money. That is not true. These are all temporary pleasures with permanent bad effects. That is the reason you see many people around you filled with joy, but in reality nobody is living a peaceful life.
Even animals enjoy small pleasures like a good breeze, a drizzle etc. But their maximum joy is on the physical level whereas we humans are gifted with the power to enjoy greater things that is called love. Your power to see the future of your loved ones in the present and to facilitate the changes in the present is called love. Love doesn’t mean sweet words, providing good food or education. Real love is the ability to see their future in the very present.
YOU CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED
Why am I saying this? It’s time for you to realise that the real joy is not in physical pleasures. No other joy can match the joy that you get from the hope to face the situation in your life which you thought you would not be able to face. As a human being you will gain the power to give the greatest joy to anyone at any point of time once you understand this truth.

When you become the source of hope for someone, the joy they get can never be compared with the joy they get out of any other physical pleasure. Every human being is blessed with the power to create a joy of hope to other human beings for which you need to have 100% conviction about your own self that you have the power to face the situation which you thought you would not be able to face. There’s no such thing called cheating, betrayal, insult or harassment in animals. They do fight and hunt for survival and existence. So keep reminding yourself that you might have been cheated, insulted or betrayed but you have never been defeated. This as a truth should be understood. Till you have life in you, you can have all you want in life. You can never be defeated. This has to be known to you to rise above the present situation. This is the highest realisation.
CREATE THE FUTURE YOU WANT TO LIVE
A spiritual person is a person with the highest knowledge without ego. Realising the self will automatically allow you to live a life without ego. Ego is thinking that ‘you can do it, I can do it, I am right and I should be right.
Once you realize yourself, the ego will automatically drop because you will realize that it is human nature to commit mistakes and the real greatness comes when we don’t repeat the mistake. Nothing is created by you but the fact remains that everything is created for you. This understanding will naturally give you the power to live without ego. In fact Vedas say you will accept everybody without expectations even if they have done any mistake. In life, mistake that makes you humble is far better than the achievement that makes you arrogant. We might have committed lot of mistakes in the past, but we still have a choice to live a life without mistakes. It involves one simple step. Once you realize your mistake make sure you don’t repeat it. It’s possible with the strength of the spirit. This is where meditation plays a major role. With meditation, you will naturally have the power to correct your mistake making you aware that the greatest joy is not predicting the future but creating the future you want to live. That is possible only with the awareness about the self and oneness in meditation.
