Stop Blaming to Keep Growing
We humans are constantly engaged in the pursuit of happiness and avoidance of pain. When things go as per our expectations we are happy but when they don’t, we find a reason to blame forgetting the simple divine truth, that is “What happens, happens to everyone; but what happens to you is decided only by you”. You are solely responsible for what happens to you. Irrespective of one’s education, skill and experience, anyone living without this understanding naturally tends to blame others.
Blaming is simply justifying ‘What went wrong wasn’t because of me, it was because of someone or something else’. It could be a person, a situation, or it could be a belief system like Astrology, Numerology etc.
Blaming yourself for something that went wrong in the past or present is Guilt. Blaming, whether it’s yourself or another is a pointless emotion. It does not allow one to see positive changes they want to see in the present or in future because blaming is accepting that you are powerless against the situation.
To see progress and growth in life and to achieve your dreams, stop blaming others or yourself. No matter who you are or where you are, you can instantly see the changes you wish to see the moment you decide to stop blaming.
After taking a decision not to blame; it is one’s responsibility to do the required preliminary preparation to experience unstoppable and consistent growth. All necessary and essential positive changes thereafter are taken care of by nature without fail.
Today I will share with you The Start – Stop – Continue Success Formula for unstoppable growth. This has also been explained in the Vedas and will unfailingly help you towards this preparation.
Humans are blessed with unbelievable power to learn and create what we want. We have the intelligence to discriminate what’s good or bad for us, however we are unable to practically apply it in our lives. This Success Formula will help you do that.
Practicing Start – Stop – Continue: List all the habits and actions that are good for you that you would like to start. Could be an exercise program, spending more time with your family, eating a more nutritious diet etc. Next, list the things that you know are self-damaging and non-essential for your growth and which you know you need to stop. Needless to say, we all know what is self-damaging and non-essential, e.g. smoking, unhealthy eating habits, procrastination etc.. Finally, list all that you presently do that accelerates your growth, is good for you and should be continued.
Every week unfailingly assess yourself against your Start – Stop – Continue list. Over time you will realize that only the ‘Continue’ list consistently keeps growing and the other two vanish effortlessly. This principle will not only promise you a successful life but will also lead to another significant transformation. You will be a source of positive energy, progress and motivation for yourself for others!!
Bless you all with ever growing progress, health and happiness.
