POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL!!
In this world change can be brought about only in human beings, and to the self. You cannot make a lion a vegetarian nor can you teach a cow to eat meat, no matter how much you train them. Because animals are not trained, they are only conditioned. You cannot really bring any change to animals or to nature, that is the nature of the animal and the nature of nature.
Human beings differ here. It is the nature of a human not to live with his nature unless he takes the effort to find his real nature. And Positive Psychology is the self-effort one takes to make sure not to express that which is not one’s true human nature; e.g. anger, sadness, doubt, fear.
Let me explain Positive Psychology and its importance to you.
The Physiology of every human is the same. E.g. the function of the kidney for every person on earth is the same. But Psychology is the logic that varies from person to person. A person’s Psychology is a combination of 4 factors. First, his self-belief systems like religion. E.g. a person may say he is a Hindu, or Muslim, Christian, Jew or even not believe in God. Second is the conditioning through family and society. Third is one’s perception about the self and one’s knowledge. This gives a person the ability to have a shift in the first two. As the perception about the self and the world changes, self-belief and the conditioning based on family and society change too. And finally, what decides one’s psychology is his state of mind.
Consider smoking, it is globally known and accepted that smoking is injurious to health. For all our knowledge we still allow it to happen while saying ‘smoking is injurious to health’. If a person is smoking we directly tell him that ‘smoking is a cause for cancer’.
Why do I discuss this with Positive Psychology? Because we know that smoking is injurious to health and we can tell a person who is smoking that smoking can cause cancer. However, failing to hold positive psychology, one lives in a state of negative psychology which is even more injurious than smoking.
Failing to hold Positive Psychology makes one emotionally low and the person gets into negative imagination. The World Health Organization states that the highest cause for health disorders isn’t physical ailments, it is psychosomatic disorders. And the first solution to prevent & recover from any psychosomatic disorder or psychological issue isn’t pills, medicines or drugs, it is Positive Psychology.
Feeling good when things are going your way isn’t Positive Psychology. Positive Psychology is the effort an individual takes to maintain a positive state of mind even in a negative situation. It is the highest contributor to regain lost health and happiness and to maintain existing health and happiness.
There is ample medical research to prove that stress & depression are the highest causes for increase in acidity and toxins in the body which cause diseases like cancer, blood pressure, diabetics etc. But the point isn’t what one could suffer by not maintaining positive psychology but the benefits one gains for sure when he does.
Positive Psychology acts like an antivirus. An antivirus prevents the system from unwanted applications and virus that affect existing applications, and allows them to function properly. The same happens when you hold positive psychology.
To maintain Positive Psychology, take the self-effort to maintain a positive mental equivalent for every situation, before you get into the action. Following this one simple principle gives phenomenal positive changes in every aspect of life.
The Vedas say that success has to reach one who takes an effort to stay in ‘Prarthana’ or Positive Psychology. The first step to health and happiness isn’t right exercise and diet, it is Positive Psychology. Exercise and diet are a waste if one doesn’t first maintain a Positive Psychology.
I want everyone reading this to take it to life, that a successful person doesn’t need to be a healthy and happy person, but a healthy and happy person MUST be a successful personality !!
For one to be healthy and happy the first step one needs to take isn’t right exercise and right diet which is still a good discipline and good effort, but it is still a waste if one doesn’t maintain a positive psychology. Again, I insist, a successful person doesn’t need to be a healthy and happy person, but a healthy and happy person will be a successful personality.
