SPIRITUAL SECRET FOR CREATING WEALTH
We human beings have got the luxury to enjoy what we don’t deserve. In fact, data shows that we are spending 27 times of what we used to spend a decade before. As a country, we might have developed economically but the number of people living with debts today has actually increased. With no second opinion, it is seen that in the entire world including the grown up economies, the individuals are still under debts which means that their spending has increased and their balance sheet is always on the negative side.
SPIRITUAL SHASTRA & WEALTH MANAGEMENT
The point that we are discussing today is that there is a spiritual side to creating a wealthy and sustainable economy. Spiritual Shastra plays a major role in this because it gives importance to four factors which are responsible for creating harmony in this society namely health, family, wealth and peace of mind. In reality, the number of people spending money has increased and the wealthier lot has reduced.
Is it a good sign? No. When it comes to spending money, Spiritual Shastra talks about three simple factors.
1. FOCUS ON VALUE NOT PRICE
Focus on richness. Richness is not about having costly things; it’s about having valuable things. The price of a product varies from place to place and from time to time based on its value. For example, in a trekking group, a rich man loses his boots. He owns expensive jewels and a diamond studded watch which is undoubtedly more costlier than the boots but at that moment, what he needs the most is a pair of shoes which alone will help him trek. Here, shoes turn out to be more valuable than anything else. So, always remember to buy things based on the value and not just on the price. Anything that you own should be based on its value and not on its cost. This is called Richness.
2. BUY ONLY WHAT YOU NEED
In the present world, everyone is busy in spending money, not in utilising it. There is a huge difference between buying what we don’t have and what we need. If you are buying what you don’t need then you are on the wrong track. We are so much influenced by media and movies that we end up buying all the things just because someone says it makes our lives better. Certain promotions make you feel that the value of your life increases only when you own this product. This situation has to change. Spiritual Shastra says the real value of a personality is based on his own contentment and the knowledge about the self. So next time when you are about to buy something, ask yourself whether you really need that product.
3. SPENDING VS INVESTING
Wealth plays an important role in an individual’s life. In this entire creation, we human beings alone need money to survive. No animals accumulate wealth to build their homes. So, knowing the value and importance of money, we should think about investing it in the right way. Ask yourself whether you are spending money or investing money. The capacity to invest money varies from person to person. Never compare your wealth with others’ wealth. Your life is your decision. If you really want to create wealth for your family, first learn to be happy with what you have. And always remember that you have all the power to create the wealth you need.
KARMA & INVESTMENT
This is where karma plays a major part. You might have heard stories about a beggar becoming a billionaire and vice versa. Everything revolves around karma. Even if you receive a huge amount of money, if it is not in your karma, you might end up in bankruptcy. Similarly if it is in your karma, with meditation and right investment, you will reach heights even if you have started from the scratch. Nobody can stop this process. Share this beautiful thought with your family members Henceforth make sure that any penny that goes out from your pocket has to be an investment. It can be an investment on education, health, wealth creation etc. For example, money spent on a movie with family members is like an investment for fun and entertainment. The moment you feel that it’s too much, then it’s no longer an investment. It becomes an expense and expense is different from investment. Investment is something which gives you more than what you have shared.
Money has become an indispensable part of human lives and so start living your life with the right investment. Now as you invest money, start investing in your karma. This is where meditation comes in place. The only place where you can create your karma is meditation.
With these three qualities and the discipline to meditate and create your own karma, nobody can stop you from living a life of abundance and richness more than you imagine.
Wishing you a Life of Peace, Success & Happiness.
